Charge Dispositions

Adult and Juvenile Delinquency Charge Dispositions

The following Result Codes are available for Adult Case Types and Juvenile Delinquency Case Types for original criminal charges.  The available Result Codes will differ for each Case Type selected, for example, if a Delinquency Case Types is selected, Jury type Results Codes will not be available.

  1. Dismiss-Nolle Prosse
    The charge has been dismissed by the State
  2. Refused-Not Billed
    The charge was refused by the State
  3. Dismissed by Judge before Trial
    The judge has dismissed this charge prior to commencement of an evidentiary hearing
  4. Judge GAC
    When a bench trial is held, and the judge holds that the fefendant is guilty of this charge as indicted.
  5. Judge - Lesser Felony
    When a defendant is found guilty, in a judge trial, of this charge, but it is reduced to a lesser felony charge..
  6. Judge - Lesser Misd
    When a defendant is found guilty, in a judge trial, of this charge, but it is reduced to a lesser misdemeanor.
  7. Judge Not Guilty
    When a judge trial is held and the defendant is acquitted of this charge.
  8. Jury GAC
    When a jury trial is held, and the jury that that the defendant is guilty of this charge as indicted.
  9. Jury - Lesser Felony
    The defendant is found guilty, in a jury trial, of a lesser felony charge than the indicted charge.
  10. Jury - Lesser Misd
    The defendant is found guilty, in a jury trial, of a lesser felony charge than the indicted charge.
  11. Jury - Acquittal
    When a jury trial is held and the defendant is acquitted of this charge.
  12. Plea GAC
    The defendant pleads guilty to this charge as filed at billing.
  13. Plea - Nolo
    The defendant pleads no contest to this charge as filed at billing.
  14. Plea - Lesser Felony
    The defendant pleads guilty to a lesser felony charge than that filed at billing.
  15. Plea-Lesser Misd
    The defendant pleads guilty to this charge, and it is reduced to a misdemeanor if filed as a felony, or reduced to a lesser misdemeanor if filed as a misdemeanor.

 

Extradition Charge Dispositions

These Result Codes are specific to Extraditions

  1. Granted
    The court has granted the extradition request.
  2. Denied
    The court has denied the extradition request.


Probation Revocation Charge DispositionsZ

These Result Codes are specific to probation revocation proceedings.

  1. Probation Continued
    The court has ordered that the defendant’s probation be continued or the terms modified.
  2. Probation Revoked
    The court has ordered that the terms of probation be revoked and commits the defendant to serve the original or a modified sentence.
  3. Probation Terminated
    The court has ordered that the terms of probation be terminate


SOAP Charge Dispositions

  1. Petition Denied
    Court finds that defendant is not SVP or CSP
  2. Determined SVP
    Court has determined that defendant is a Sexually Violent Predator
  3. Determined CSP
    Court has determined that defendant is a Child Sexual Predator


Juvenile FINS Charge Dispositions

  1. Dismiss - Nolle Prosse
    The State has dismissed this charge.
  2. Refused - Not Billed
    The State has refused to file this charge.
  3. Dismissed by Judge before Trial
    The judge has dismissed this charge prior to commencement of an evidentiary hearing
  4. Adjudicated FINS
    The judge has entered an order directing that the family is in need of services.
  5. Not Adjudicated FINS
    The judge has entered an order directing that the family is not in need of services.


Juvenile CINC-Child and Parent Petition Dispositions

A Result Code is to be entered at the conclusion of the dispositional hearing.  Unlike the Disposition Codes in adult criminal or delinquency proceedings, these dispositions may change over time as the case progresses.  A different Disposition Code will be entered when the child is reunified with the family or termination is sought.

  1. Dismiss - Nolle Prosse
    The state withdraws the petition as to this child.
  2. Dismissed by Judge before Trial
    The judge finds that the petition is insufficient to move forward before a formal dispositional hearing.
  3. Aged - Out
    The case is dismissed due to the child reaching the age of majority.
  4. Reunification
    The order of the court is reunification and the state is no longer supervising the child.
  5. Supervision by State
    The court orders that the child return to or remain in the home, but the case is not yet closed and the state continues supervision.
  6. Continued Custody
    The state continues custody of the child after the dispositional hearing.
  7. Transfer to Termination
    The State moves to terminate parental rights by filing a petition or otherwise taking formal action to terminate parental rights as to this child.


Child Support Dispositions

  1. Support Set
    The court has entered or modified a child support order.


Child Support Contempt Dispositions

  1. Found in contempt
    The Court has found the client guilty of contempt for failing to comply with the child support order.
  2. Not found in contempt
    The Court has found the client not guilty of contempt for failing to comply with the child support order.
